On the way to Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut on the secondary road to the casino, there are electric lines on wooden posts on the right side of the road.
A pair of eagles raise a family on top of one of these posts every year, kinda like a neighborhood attraction.
So, officials had the electric lines relocated to the other side of the road to bypass the nesting site. Had to bury new poles and run wires, etc. on the bypass for about 1/4 mile away from each end of the site.
Eagles are thriving there. nest is HUGE!!!! Grows bigger each year.
