Tom - weight is much heavier than my friends Equal-I-zer which I stated above, I don't have an actual weight difference, sorry. It is quite noticeable. There is no noise at all when driving and maybe a small amount from the chains shifting when backing at extreme angles. At home I have to cut it hard to park the TT in its spot and I can hear the chains shift now and then. It is quieter than my EZ Lift in that regards. As for setup, I have never setup a DC but from reading and watching vids this is much easier. There is no adjustment other than chain tension.
