As stated on both other threads (Andersen and Blue Ox)...am very impressed
with this newer system. More so after CHD posted this after owning/towing
with the Andersen (still think Andersen an nifty architecture, but
the devil is in the details continues to be exposed)
The cast in head tilt is also a very good idea. As there are less components
to both adjust and go wrong (both corrosion and loosen). More so with their
spring bars and how flattened they are compared to others
So many asking how much tilt to even reading so many tilting theirs
the wrong way. How many washers, which flat of that locking washer, etc
I think the higher level of bending vs others also helps manage sway.
Also think the ease and speed of unhooking now has it over one of the main
attributes of the Andersen. Wrenching both bushing (spring) nuts vs unlatch
this nifty chain mechanism and then turn/remove the bars. Dangling bars due
to the 'U' bolt to chain can be fixed with a good hook at the end of the chain
Like this Blue Ox system even more and will be one for me when the time comes
to again get a WD Hitch system
