I'm the OP for this thread, funny to see a 2 yr old thread awakened. I just wanted to say that I am still very happy with my Sway Pro. I've been on around 10 trips with it ranging from 12 hour trips across flat FL to 2 hours trips through the mountains of NC. Zero sway ever encountered. I get the normal small push from a passing semi but it never causes anything to get unsettled. Very little noise and it's very "clean". The only exposed grease is on the ball. Powder coating is flaking in spots on the rotating brackets but that is it. Where it has flaked the rust likes to start up quick so I need to stay on top of it. I do like those rotating brackets. I use a 3ft breaker bar vs. the short stock bar and it's quite easy to pull up the chains.
My only complaint? It is HEAVY. That one pc cast head is one heavy piece of metal. I have a back injury from 20 yrs ago and I need to be careful when installing it. Oh, the shank is also quite a bit longer than my old hitches. I needed to extend my safety chains by 3 links.
