More like every 3 months for me. Maybe its not enough, but every trip would get messy
I bought a mini grease gun from NAPA, which so far has not leaked, and it stores easier than a full size.
I'll have to make note of that. One question...how does the grease fittings work?
Reason I ask, the only things I've used a grease gun on were the road wheels of an armored personnel carrier. With those, besides having the grease zerk, there was also a "grease exit port" for lack of a better term. You'd hook the grease gun up to the zerk and keep pumping in grease till it started to come out the exit. Then you'd continue to pump in grease till what was coming out the exit was clean & fresh.
So how does it work with just a zerk?
Thanks!
