I got a heavier bike rack with a ramp to carry it. I thought 125 lbs was a tad heavy for a standard bike rack. I got this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B7GHIGA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yes, extra batteries are pricey - I have not asked Jetson how much as I think 40 miles is plenty of range.
The reviews for the bike itself are good. The early reviews on their customer service were bad until they changed some staff. Since then, it appears to be good.
