Edgestar portable ice maker
I know I have read on here that most of the portable ice makers are the same more or less. Wondering if anyone has an Edgestar brand or know anything about it? Thanks

- I have worked on four of them and was able to repair three. They all had the same internal parts -circuit boards, compressors, synchronous motors, etc.
- We picked up a Magic Chef on a 4th of July sale at Home Depot and it works great. Like others said, they are probably all made in the same factory in the Far East.
- X 2 Magic Chef and all probably made by the same couple of manufacturers.
Ours works great and have had it for over 5 years. - Ours is Magic Chef, but they do all seem to look very similar. Probably the same maker with different names.
- Seems to be a lot of posts on here about them.
- Love mine. Got it last summer after out first one died after sitting out all winter. Makes ice crazy fast.
