Trailer tongue could be upwards of 1000lbs even with minimal stuff in the trailer, so a WDH is a must with the F150's stock receiver.
It's not going to be a walk in the park or a smooth ride, but it will be doable as long as you're not trying to haul all your father's worldly possessions along, or expect to camp in the trailer during the trip. Minimal stuff in the trailer, empty water tanks, just transporting.
