That's very special that you've been told this. I've actually taken the time to do it. It's very easy on any online Ford dealer website. For the 30 minutes it took me to do it, I am now sure and you, on the other hand, aren't. So, instead of listening to what they told you, do your own homework. As to the blocks, I personally have done it to my past 250 as have has countless informed owners on the many Ford forums out there. So, instead of posting your misinformed info, try doing your own research and stop debating someone who has already has. It's not hard, you'll know for sure, and won't have to say you're sorry again on a forum for being wrong.

PS: If you really think I'm wrong, I'm a betting man and would challenge you to find one different part between the two. A paypal payment amount of your choice is waiting for you when you show me a difference. So, let's clear this up. What part(s) exactly do you and your engineer and dealer service managers say are different? I'll look them up and post the part numbers in 5 minutes. I'm waiting....

Never claimed to be either. Just personally checked every part number of the SRW 350 vs. the 250 and found them to be the same. I also corresponded with the engineers from Ford when they took the time to be on the FTE forums last year. Now, what research have you done that leads you to believe that I'm incorrect? Oh, nothing? Yes, because that has ANYTHING to do with how it will handle towing the trailer in question? So, you're telling me a fabricated number on paper or a sticker is more important than the actual physical truck towing the load? Yes, that makes perfect sense...LOL. Who cares at all what the sticker says if you know for a fact that it's the same truck?

1100lb difference due to trim and powerplant, wow.

When comparing identically equipt trucks, hey are the same part numbers in every dept. comparing apples to oranges doesn't help here.
