Whether an RV is driven or towed to the west coast, they all end up with used tires at the dealer's lot with over 2K miles on them with an unknown amount of abuse.
We followed a TT in norcal last year that was on it's way to a dealer. The delivery guy was going well over the 65mph max on the ST tires on the straight stretches and made no attempt to avoid the potholes, shoulders and rough patches on the secondary road we were on. It's not right but nobody makes a fuss about it so the practice continues. Makes me wonder how often and how much this contributes to blowouts that TT owners have.
