I was looking at an order sheet for a Winnebago RV and there was an option for 'Factory Pickup'. I thought at first that was where you can save $2,000 in delivery charges by going to Forest City, Iowa. Wrong. I was told that I would still pay the freight charges and the $2,000 was to cover the cost of Winnebago handing over the RV right there at the factory. The salesman said that the factory tour was really good. Who want to see how sausage is made? $2,000 buys a lot of beer and pizza and an OK TV to watch the football games.
