I was looking at an order sheet for a Winnebago RV and there was an option for 'Factory Pickup'. I thought at first that was where you can save $2,000 in delivery charges by going to Forest City, Iowa. Wrong. I was told that I would still pay the freight charges and the $2,000 was to cover the cost of Winnebago handing over the RV right there at the factory. the main advantage, other than you putting the first 1,000 miles on yourself and breaking it in right, is to go thru it with factory reps and get any thing repaired at the factory if required.
