Fairplex RV show in Pomona CA coming up

RV show runs Oct 7 - Oct 16, from 10 - 5 every day. We plan to go, just because we like to see everything, not because we are shopping.

Parking $10 cars, $15 RVs.

  • While we were there Saturday, in the big tent was a vendor for awnings. He said he could install an articulated awning setup for about $850 plus put a new awning on (ours is bad) for less than the cost from CW.

Plus he will come out to do it in 2-3 hours here - we would not have to drive. That's frame and all electrical.

    Anyone ever have this done?
  • Update!!!

http://www.rvia.org/?ESID=cashow has a page you can print which shows Military and their families get in for free. Look for the little button marked "Fact Sheet" and print it out. Most places say "Active Military", but not this one. Saved me a double sawbuck. (You young whippersnappers probably don't know that means $20.00)

    Also try: http://www.rvia.org/UniPop.cfm?v=2&OID=6888&CC=2400
  • John Wayne...Long Beach... love it.

Dogs are welcome with the private rv's....not "in" the vendors areas or new rv's.... or at least they didn't use to be. Maybe things have changed. Don'tcha just hate it when that happens?

  • Problem there is that they don't allow dogs in the show, nor can you leave them in your car. Don't know about leaving in the rv.
