Did anyone else brave the heat and humidity to go to the show?The biggest thing I noticed was the absence of Fleetwood products at the Mike Thompson space. And boy has the price gone up on their 'A's.Also the proliferation of outdoor Entertainment centers and kitchens.A lot of TV's mounted on powerlifts or drop downs. Most of the Leprechaun's had them. There seemed to be a lot of emphasis on aesthetics. If the finishes on the exteriors last as well and long as published, the rigs of today will look great with a minimum of care.All in all it was a great show, heat and humidity aside, the crowds were around the Beed vendors and even then only one or two in line to buy.We found a couple of rigs we wanted to drive home but we don't have any parking up here on the hill so rather than getting a lot of tickets for illegal parking we came home empty handed.

Took in the show yesterday. Was looking at trailers (TT) for relatives who were at work. Focused on slideout kitchen. Size 2 adults 2 urchins. Bunk beds look like good idea. Springdale and Passport look about right.Beer vendor was clueless on how to pour. Wasted about 6 glasses trying to fill one without 1/2 of it foam.Weather wasn't really too bad, some clouds in the sky.

We went last Friday, the only day we could go. It was 105 plus the heat off of the asphalt. Generally, most of the RV dealers have water at their booths....only one did. Beer was $11.00 a glass, I guess that's why they could afford to spill it. My biggest complaint was the cost. They want to tempt you into buying an RV, yet it was $10.00 a person to get in and $10.00 for parking. As I was talking to a parking attendant, he was having heat stroke, I called someone over and they had to haul him off.The big tent has slowly been dwindling, with fewer and fewer products. This year, they probably could have used a few easy ups.The show had a variety of RV's and I thought there was finally a return of the DP's. There were many models to see.

Discount tickets are available in magazines and on the internet making entry $5.00/person. I could not find discounts on the parking.

I'm not surprised at the fact that rigs are getting more televisions. This has been a trend for at least 2-3 years now. A couple years ago, when I saw eight TVs in a toy hauler fifth wheel (one behind a hatch by the door, on in the living room, two by the bunks, one in the bedroom, one in the garage area, and one intended for the "porch" (which was created by flipping down the tailgate, adding rails.)

To me, I find it pointless. However, adding electronics like TVs is inexpensive.

What would be nice would be real changes: Truma water heaters and furnaces, for example. Daewoo's Mini-Drum washer that mounts on a wall, with a similar small dryer. Have the roof covered with solar panels, so the house batteries would be always ready to go.

There is NEVER, repeat, NEVER a discount on beer.

During the County fair, large beer was $15.00 a pop. Buying for the family can create bankruptcy.

The fair charges outrageous prices on absolutely everything. The vendors are ripped by the county for the privilege of being there and the attendees are ripped by the vendors and the county.

The county wastes money like water flows from the Boulder dam on projects we don't want and can't pay for. So they want to tax us in any way they can. The city uses the Department of Water and Power like a piggy bank. How does the DWP make up for that?

We didn't go this year, but have gone several times in previous years. I don't know why they continue to hold this RV show in October. It's ALWAYS too HOT. They should move it to November. And we always wish they would open it earlier, like 8 a.m., but they don't open until 10 a.m., and it's already boiling hot by then.

Well, it got us out of the house and it made us feel better about our '06 Winnie. Did have a nice conversation with one of the vendors about our shoes!

At least it wasn't crowded (except for sales people) and parking was close by.

Went today, a lot of RV of all sorts in one place to look at. If you are in a buying mood this is a good way to compare various brands. As others have mentioned beer is a ripoff. Food is just as bad, bought a famous Pinks hotdog (first time) for $8.00. The tent was a waste of time, maybe 20 vendors open mostly non RV items and resorts. Did enjoy a several old vintage trailers.

We showed up at 11:00am and left at 6:30pm. Disappointed in the RV goodies. Not many vendors in the goodies tent, miss the days when the show was at Dodgers stadium. Did notice that the prices on 5th wheels were down from last year. Still fun to look and see what is new on the market.
