We were out that way maybe 3 years ago and right after we departed, they had a devastating early season snow storm where many cattle were lost. Think it was late Sep or early Oct. Something to consider.
It was remarkable because it happened in the fall, instead of in spring when weather evsnts like that are expected.
It was manageable, power outages were minimal , highways were open . Our emergency responders were prepared.
