At a campground north of Dallas on the Red River. It just hit 90 degrees. Looking forward to winter weather where the daily highs will only be in the 60s and 70s.
It was sleeting along with little ice pellets coming down last Friday. Weather in our part of Texas can change really fast. If you don't want to get caught in a sudden freeze, I would at least go south as far as Austin or even better to San Antonio. San Antonio is a great city to visit with lots to do and see. Our gulf coast is even better and you can swim in November.
