Played golf once at the TPC a Los Colinas. Since I was a single, I had to wait and be teamed up with another player who happened to be Steve Sax who played for the Yankees at the time. He seemed a bit standoffish and really into his golf, so we didn't talk much.
I have always been curious about how close I have come to famous or infamous people. May have stood right next to someone and never knew it as I almost did with Byron Nelson at the Byron Nelson tournament on the same course. When I realized it was him, it was too late to say anything. He was rushed away in a golf cart.
