Try the inexpensive Quick & E-Z method first!..;)
The cracking is easily fixed with some fiberglass repair on the *backside* of the fender.
Flexing is usually the cause - and *will/may* repeat in the same area again.
Use a strip of thin metal & pop rivets *under* the fiberglass mat and resin to stiffen the area of the crack.

Either store-bought spray paint (cheap!) -or- custom mixed (matched color) spray can from auto paint store for about $10-$15.
