I haven't made the repair yet, but I'm going to use a 2part epoxy with the some fiberglass mat. Probably a couple of coats. I think that when the resin would begin to harden it gets hot and would melt the thin plastic. I will post when I get the repair done as to how it turned out. Might not get to it for a few days though.
