The 1700 lbs. difference must be trailer weight, tongue weight specifically.

That is weight on the axles.
tongue weight plus axle weight is the total weight of the trailer. In your case, 7880 lbs.
You are very heavily loaded, front loaded specifically.
Did you have full fresh, black, and gray tanks? where are your tanks located? In front of the axles?
According to Forest River numbers, your max tt weight is around 7700 lbs. which also includes people and water.
