Please don't post that I don't have any concern for my family's safety or tell me to upgrade to a 2500 or 3500 series. I am making the best I can with what I have and most of our trips are within an hour of driving.
Ok, the truth hurts sometimes, and this will be one of them. You are going to be over no matter what. Loaded up your trailer will likely be near 7000 lbs, which translates to a TW of 840-1050 lbs (probably on the higher side based off the 815 listed TW). Even at 10% TW you will be over.
Right now based off what you posted you are grossly overweight. It's not even a question of it maybe being OK. Driving down the road is probably not an issue, but when emergency maneuvers are needed you may not be able to do so well, and that is what places your family and others on the road in danger. Whether you are going 30 miles or 300 miles makes little difference.
In my opinion, if your reweigh shows similar results you should carefully think about what you are doing.
That's my $.02, and others may agree or not.
