We have 7 acres of hardwoods and have more firewood than we can burn, just from downed limbs and maintainance trimming. It really hurt to have to buy firewood when camping. I solved my problem by putting oversized firewood bundles out by the road at a cheap price. Actually made over a hundred dollars a month during camping season. I beat others prices, because there is no supply chain. I'm the producer, wholesaler and retailer. I have a slotted lock box and an honor system. People actually overpaid, if they didn't have change. I was only short changed once, and suspect that it was probably a person that had overpaid previously.
