I enjoy a campfire as much as anyone. I used to carry some cut, scrap lumber for it. But now with all the rules and regs about fires, many place do not allow ground fires. So today I ordered a "Campfire in a can". Kind of pricy but I will be able to use it anywhere. It really puts out the heat and flame but yet can be put on a plastic matt. It does use propane but it's not much more than the cost of firewood, possibly less, with no smoke so you can sit anywhere around it . And when you want to go inside, you just turn it off. It won't replace the real thing but we must adapt to the new rules. They have quite a web-suite for those that want to see one in action.
