22 States and Canada are now part of the quarantine so that should give everyone an idea just how enormous the problem has become.
It's not as bad as that, though certainly it's bad enough. The areas outlined in blue below are the current Federal Quarantine areas; these are the
only areas where the USDA would be performing inspections/certifications. The only reason for my post was to clear up confusion as to when the USDA inspection shield must be on firewood. I got the impression that there was a misunderstanding that it should be on any firewood bundle, no matter where it came from. This isn't correct- it must appear only on wood that comes from inside those boundaries.
