Flat screen tv attachment

Our tt has a 32" jensen flat screen tv mounted on the wall. Simply trying to plug in an extra hdmi cable, but cant reach it, i can not for the life of me figure out how to dismount the tv from the wall.

I figured i could lift it out, but it doesnt seem to want to budge, and dont want to break it off the wall or the wall itself.

Any clue how to get the tv to come out?
  • There is usually at least one screw from the bottom of mount that keep TV from coming off wall mount. May require a long screwdriver to remove.

Ok thanks for the input. I didnt even consider that, this is looking to be more of a chore than its worth.
  • Is there a cabinet behind it is it possible it's mounted from the back.

Theres not. I cant see or feel the mount, yet i can feel the hdmi but cant get the darn thing to plug in. Its so close, but going in blind is makingit impossible
  • My TV has two rails that are mounted onto the wall, then two brackets that secure to the TV with a hook at the top, which hooks over the top rail, then when the bottom part of the bracket meets the bottom rail, there's a screw that you have to screw in to keep the TV from coming off or sliding on the rail. I had to use a camera to take pics behind the TV so I could find out where to unscrew them. Colossal Pain. Good Luck.

I didnt think to take a pic back there. I did, got a visual of what i was looking at, and plugged it straight in.

    Thanks a million man!
  • If it's a tight fit back there they make HDMI cables with a 90 degree plug 'L' shaped.

I gotta credit the Wife with that one. After standing there staring at me struggling with it, she mentioned it.
