More and more we find potlucks have a lot of KFC and other things, if there are any close.
Usually gave good luck at them. At Family Reunions up noth everything is made at home.
I know why all the Cousins are skinny.
If there's fried chicken, smashed taters, and pinto beans I'm good to go.
Don't want no bean salad or past salad, or raw veg mix nor rolls. Give real bread; corn bread or biscuits. Don't bring no convenience mart or fast food tea neither. Sugar won't disolve in cold tea.
I don't understand your sentence about all the Cousins are skinny.
Skinny is good. Maybe they want to be skinny. To each is own , I wouldn't want to eat the food you mention and like because they all sound to heavy, fatty, and full of cholesterol for me. If you like them that's OK though. Maybe that's why it's a pot luck so everybody can get a taste of new things and then eat the food that they like.
Give me the raw vegetable mix and some Lite Ranch Dressing and I'm golden. You can have the undercooked red meat and so on. Lets shake on it and be friends. :)
Edit: After we shake on it we better wash our hands before we eat. ;)
I'll bring some Okra and Opossum to the next one. Got a couple fattening themselves up on the cat's food. Ought to be real plump by then. :)
I'de love to try some Opossum. Is that a animal similar to the Possums we have up here? ;) If I have some will you try some fresh vegetables right out of my garden? Puts the store bought vegetables to shame.
I can get some corn fed deer meat too. It tastes a lot better then the deer that are in the woods.
Maybe we should start a RV.NET Pot Luck. :B
I been threatening to bring opossum to a family reunion but I'd have to run for it. Dad's family, as Sharecroppers at a lot of it or anything else they could catch.
I'll take the Vension in pepper gravy any day. absolutely delicious.
Don't bring any of that fish they fix in lye or Luterfish or something though. :)
