Ford Edge, Honda CRV or Jeep Cherokee, which to tow?

Looking to buy a new car. Will be towing it behind the motor home, plus my daily driver. Have narrowed it down to the above 3 vehicles. Looking for comments. I know the 2015 CVR are not towable, ...

Just purchased a Safari Cheeta 36' Diesel and a 2010 Honda Fit automatic Transmission that the previous owner towed using a Blue OX Alpha bar. According to him he towed over 8k and never used an aux braking system since the FIT only weighs 2,450 lbs. I do not plan any extreme mountain driving this year (Keys to Jersey Coast) but I'm considering X-country in a year's time. Looking for feedback on necessity/appropriate aux braking options.
