Today's gas stations all do WAY more volume than people imagine. Unless maybe you are at a little seasonal general store up in the woods. Even then, you'd be surprised. The entire fuel inventory chain is "just in time" and high volume these days. Fuel does not sit around in inventory going stale.
x2 exactly. and the vast majority of the fuel no matter what station, it comes from the same distribution point where the additives are put into it AT LOADING OF THE TRUCK. There are a few exceptions like where Chevron might have it's own distribution center (Like Seattle)But these are more the exception.
Many stations in just moderately busy areas get a fuel delivery EVERY DAY/NIGHT.
