- soling2003ExplorerThat does actually look pretty good. You could even route the hose and leave it always hooked up to the inlet. mmmmmm

Go to photo gallery on this site and it will show you instructions and materials needed to build a moble water hose storage unit good for 25' of hose. Looks like it won't take up much room, thinking of trying it myself.
LOOKS EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - MSGMadhatterExplorerStorage of Water Hoses: My storage compartments are small. I got tired of wrestling hoses aroound. I bought an aluminum hitch shelf (2'x5');slides into your receiver. I keep my hose on a hose reel like you use at home. I can roll up 50' fast and easy.
Don't forget to plug both ends. - tsetsafExplorer IIIPlumbed this legacy auto wind real into our fresh water intake. Placed it inside the enclosed bay and routed the hose through the service bay. Works great. Auto wind by Legacy
- wintersunExplorer III carry four hoses, a 25' flat vinyl hose, a 25' flat fabric hoes, a 10' flat hose, and a 5' hose. The flat hoses take up very little space and most of thee time the 10' is all I need. I use the 25' and sometimes both 25' hoses when filling up the tank at the house or at a friend's house along the way as we travel. The flat hoses are less convenient but take 1/2 the space of a standard 50' round hose, and most of the time I am using the 10' semi-flat hose.

Why do you have a 50' water hose? Heck most of the I have never had an issue with getting hooked up with a 25' water hose,I didn't know that they made the potable water hoses in 50' lengths.
I too often need fifty feet and have used more.
I stay at the Fryeburg Fair in ME every years and need 50' and a "Y" adapter. - tenbearExplorerI have 3 hoses of different lengths. I use the shortest I can but have used all three at the same time, over 50'. Just coil them up, fasten the ends together (on the same hose) and toss then in a tub. No dirt gets in and no leakage, and shorter lengths are easier to coil.
- IAMICHABODExplorer IIThis is what I do and it works out very well. I use a Rubbermaid Tote
It keeps everything togather and clean and when I get to the campground I take it to the water hookup spot and it is all there and ready to go. When it is time to leave I just drain the hose and put it back with the Regulater and all of the things that I used for the hookup. - Bob_VaughnExplorer

i use a plastic hose reel similar to the one in the picture. mine has a handle on top, stores 100' of 3/8 hose and sits upright in the storage compartment..maybe 6"-8" of floor space. unreel as much as i need and reel it back in when done. couldn't be simpler.
I had one of these and the problem I had with mine was water would collect inside the reel and when I went to put it inside my basement the water would run out onto the floor so I junked it..... - Doug_and_Cassi_ExplorerI carry one of the flat hoses that roll up for an extension only when needed. They will burst in the sun and wear out quickly from the movement on the ground. Mine has a few pin holes but still works when needed. Waters the lawn at the same time too!
