Frozen Battery Cells

With the unusually cold winter we have had, be sure to check your battery/batteries before heading out to camp. I had two frozen batteries on mine and my buddy has had two on his. I only have to replace 2 6 volt - he has to replace 4 on his MH.
  • My two 6 volt house batteries froze a few years ago. They were slushy, not frozen solid.
I thawed and recharged them, they came back and worked great.
I was lucky. I now keep them plugged into shore power 24/7/

My batteries are outside dogs. :W I can't even imagine lugging those things into my house for storage.

    I take oldman's route.
