We rarely use the major truck stops. Cheaper fuel is almost always no more than a 1/2 mile away & any station near a major intersection or sizable highway is doable without much issue.
The few access problems that do happen are often caused by a gas/diesel being on the same end island & a car is sitting there meanwhile the gas only islands stand empty. That is lack of car driver thought not station design.
