We have a 2014 Equinox and I made my own. It's worked fine over the past 6 months. I opened up a fuse and removed the two pins. Bought a switch from an auto parts store along with a fuse holder. Soldered the wires to the pins and plugged it in. Inserted the removed fuse into the fuse holder and put everything back together. Now all I have to do is flip the switch and I'm ready to tow....the switch turns off the electrical so you don't run down the battery. It also turns off the radio, nav, odometer etc...Dennis
