FYI: Igloo Portable Ice Makers

It is an ice maker, not a freeaer. Yes, the ice needs to be emptied often. We use gallon size ziplocs and put it in the freezer of motorhome.

I have been told that you have to remove the ice as soon as it is made or it will melt. Does this Igloo keep the bin ice cold???

I have one and it quit after 6 months in operation. I really like it but can't figure our why it quit and can't find an Igloo site to get warranty repairs.
