I forgot about the primary insurance company covering Gap--thanks delwhjr for reminding me. My primary insurance offered GAP for about one fourth the cost that the lending company offered it for. That reaffirms my point that profit by the RV dealer pumps up the price. As pointed out above if the amount of the load is less than the value of the RV, there is no need for GAP.
