Everywhere I have went you had to be street legal to ride in the park. You can buy 49cc mopeds that have minimal cost to tag and are legal. I used a 125 Yamaha Zuma but it required a motorcycle license and insurance to use. I would use mine to run to the store or town for lunch. Sometimes the Diesel would not be started until I got ready to leave. Another advantage to mopeds is they usually have some storage under the seat, mine would hold a 30 pack or a small bag of groceries.
