Gas Powered Mini Bike at State Park

I've looked all over the websites and cannot come up with an answer.

Are small gas powered min bikes allowed in state parks? We would be using it to get back and forth to the bath house and gently cruising around the campground sight seeing...

We'll be staying in caesars creek state park in Ohio.

Thanks for the help!!

  • Visit Silver Lake State Park in Michigan; trailer (or walk) your mini bike to the ORV area... You'll need a ORV permit, a flag and safety equipment and then it's time to go nuts riding the dunes!
  • Considering most state parks require you to abide by the same rules as on any public road you may be out of luck. I do know Oregon state parks will require license wnd helmet as with any other motor vehicle used on public roads.
  • In WI State parks, state road laws apply on all park roads. So mini-bikes aren't allowed on the street, they are not allowed in state parks.

    OH may have different laws.
  • Dunno about Ohio, but many states require that the bike be licensed if ridden on public streets, like around the campground.

Only way to be fairly sure is to call them and ask.
  • See them occasionally in WA and OR state parks..
    but, not allowed on trails.
  • Most SP's in WI allow them. But to speak for any single one, especially other States, you should check their web site or call first.
  • call the park- I doubt they will let you bring it in.
