When I first saw a motorhome with full paint, painted graphics and clear coats,.....I said to myself that someday I will own one, gotta have it. By the time I saved enough money to write a check for one (the mostest I could afford), the "look at me" part of it did not have THAT big of an impact. When I parked in the shadow of a fresh 45 ft Newell, everybody wanted to look at the Newell (didn't blame them).
However, I felt that in order to justify spending the money on a new motorhome, one must use it for about 20 years.
The paint still looks almost new, EXCEPT from the gutter line up. The paint that they used (up in that area) was obviously substandard (the clear coat burned off in a few years).
I'm going to attempt repainting that area myself.
I still like the rest of the (main) paint job, and the graphics (they still look good):
