Maybe not all Mallwarts carry it?rockhillmanor wrote:
Between trying to store them flat for traveling and the time to set them up and break them down I just got plum tired of it all. When I pull in after a long day driving the RV I want to eat not spend my time setting up!
That's what we've found after doing our first 3 week road trip. Just a real pain to drag out and setup every day or two. We won't use the cooktop inside for cooking meat or things that will splatter and smell up the inside and except for one layover of a few days, so ended up eating out somewhere all the time.....
Not sure about the BBQs thathook onto the side of an RV
, probably still a pain to pull out and set up?....
IMHO NO on the attached stove.!
Had one of those attached to the side of my first TT. WHAT A MESS. It splatters all of the side of your RV.:R Not to mention the heat factor up the sides.
RE: My fold flat cook and grill stoves.
They can be found at any big box sporting stores. Gandermountain, BassPro, Dicks, and you can order them online.
They go under the names of Texsport, Stansport, Coleman, and Camp Chef Ranier.
I full time and I don't use the stove inside the MH either.
I also added this cook stove to my arsenal of easy cooking/storage stoves while on the road.
Once a month I hunker down in a CG I like and take a day or two and I cook up home made soup and stews. Then freeze them in individual containers for easy meals while traveling. (keeps me out of the fast food restaurants:W)
Only thing is it brings everyone in the CG over to my site to see what smells so good that I end up having everyone over for some!
So this one is great for big pot cooking.

Sooo, 2 "fold flat" cook stoves one for BBQ and one for cooking and I am good to go! The sit right on top of each other in the bay and only take up the room of the size of a laptop!
IMHO Those weber q's are nothing more than a George forum grill on steroids that doesn't heat up hot enough and really does not make food taste grilled. JMHO:W
