I agree that when it comes to grills, Weber is the best. however, I've had my Road Trip Grill for almost 10 years and it's still going strong. My brother in law has had is more like 15 years and hasn't even had to replace the grates. There are def downsides to it, but I never expected full grill capabilities in a travel grill. When I fold mine up, I just set it in side the door of the trailer. It's the first thing to come out when we get set up and we're good to go.
