I kind of agree I don't expect full features in a camping grill however the Weber is close to full feature in a small, portable travel size unit.
What I do expect is the grill to get hot on occasion my Roadtrip would not heat up enough to make bacon and eggs.
There were times when my Roadtrip simply would not get hot enough to cook breakfast. In the morning if it were a bit cool with a breeze the Roadtrip struggled.
The Weber Q gets the job done. I witnessed breakfast cooking quite nicely on a Weber Q while my Roadtrip was luke warm. A grill that you cannot count on to get hot all the time is no good. Especially when camping!
For the record my Roadtrip just sold on Craigslist and hour ago.
