We have a 2015 GMC Yukon Denali which we tow behind our Foretravel. We love the car and it tows nicely. But the dinghy towing instructions in the owner's manual are incorrect (i.e. if you follow them exactly, an error code is initiated which prevents the transfer case from getting out of neutral when you detoad later). We had to tow the car to a dealer twice to get transfer case out of neutral and back into 2wd.
Furthermore, the instructions in the manual are in two sections with overlapping steps. The manual came with a supplement/correction for the procedure; however, those steps are also overlapping and incomplete. Finally after the 2nd tow, we received a service bulletin issued in August, 2014! IT TOO GIVES INSTRUCTIONS BUT THEY STILL REFER BACK TO THE MANUAL AND YOU STILL HAVE OVERLAPPING STEPS! BUT it does contain information on how to reset the error code which prevents vehicle from getting back to 2wd (pulling a 30 amp fuse).
It has been a nightmare trying to figure out which redundant steps are necessary and which are just doing the same thing over and over again.
