I saw a deal on TV some outfit makes a kit, including all electronics, to fit a Allison transmission to any Ford or Dodge.

:) Hi, I used to work at a Ford dealer; Across the street was a Chevrolet dealer. Behind the Chevrolet dealer was an Allison transmission shop. In, and around this shop, were piles of Allisons in need of repair. All transmissions, no matter who builds them, can and will fail.
