Good News
16 years ago I beat Melanoma after they lazered it, cut it and froze it. Several weeks ago my primary care Dr. told me she thought my wart near my temple was growing irregularly. Off I go to Dermatology in Dallas, one of my least favorite places on this planet.
A young woman comes in the exam room and introduces herself. The Dallas VA is a teaching Hospital and I get a "Fellow" who looks about 12. A couple of painless injections and the thing scraped off and sent to the lab. "We"ll let you know".
Today I get a letter and a follow up call from the young Dr.. Benign. something starting with a K but darned if I can find the letter.
Nothing historic but I will have a small touch of good scotch.
