sigh ... so many little things to worry about.
don't want folks walking through your site? don't park next to something folks want to walk to. I've observed most site-walking occurs next to playgrounds, beach access, bathhouse access, parking lots, etc. unless you've signed a lease or a deed, it's not your site, it's public / private property, don't be so territorial.
car doors closing and keyless entry beeps happen. don't like it? don't stay in a busy campground, head into the National Forest, pull off the road and enjoy some peace and quiet.
same as above for generators. not everyone can afford solar, not everyone has the discipline to go without using electric devices. many rustic campgrounds have a no-generator loop and there's plenty of empty National Forest out there.
I will agree with the choir on leaving trash at a site, no excuse for that... too many folks treat the fire ring as a trash receptacle, it is most unpleasant.
I agree with this^
All though I like secluded campgrounds, I also enjoy the busier ones also. I don't expect a close quarters state park to be quiet. I actually can enjoy the activities going on at the campground and I certainly enjoy children. Having raised six ourselves. Now we enjoy the grand kids too!
