So far our method has been a complete walk around, inside and outside by the wife and I. She usually cleans up the inside while I run the outside.
When we are bought done we both walk the inside, make sure doors/windows/cabinets/vents are closed and everything is properly put away. Then we go out, I start the truck and turn on the hazard lights. We walk the entire rig, literally checking and pulling on WDH brackets, safety chains, make sure each marker light works, touch each stab jack, water inlet, cable tv hookup, all blocks are picked up, chocks put away, storage bins locked, tail and brake lights working (hence the hazard lights flashing), awning secured, door locked, steps secured, back up to the hitch a second time.
So far, no problems.
