Good replacement captains chair?

I do not find the one that came with my coach to be comfortable. There is no adjustable headrest, and it sticks forward too much which forces my head forward in an uncomfortable position. It gets too hot underneath as the leatherette? just does not breathe well. I don't want fabric, but I am used to a stippled leather that I have been happy with.

Also, surprised that these things are literally on a stiff pole. I would have expected some type of hydraulic post that helps to cushion the ride a little bit when hitting bumps.

Is it worthwhile to replace, and if so with what? I would argue with my wife to get a new one if I could keep it under $500.
