Good Sam Swipe&Save card

Question

Has anyone used the GS Swipe&amp;Save card at the diesel truck pumps at either Flying J or Pilot Travel Centers in order to get the great 3 cents per gallon discount?  Does the clerk give the discount when you leave a credit card with them?Just renewed my membership and got the ad showing their new card so I haven't got one yet to try using it.

I haven't' tried the GS card but I do use my AARP Chase Visa and get 3% back on fuel purchases.  That amounts to 12 cents on $4/gallon fuel.  Better than the GS card.

Truck Stop prices are high even after the discounts. I primarily fill with no problems at other stations usually several cents lower per gallon than the after discount truck stop price.  Benefit of having the extra in-bed fuel tank.
