That is what I was talking about.

PFJ has their own in store loyalty card called MyRewards. What I found is Good Sam membership cards can be associated with MyRewards so you don't have to carry another card with you.

My confusion was I thought you could use that at the pump for perks as well.

What may be causing some confusion is that the pumps at Pilot Flying J prompt you to insert your “loyalty card.” Here’s a helpful FAQ from GoodSamClub.com that addresses this:

Why am I seeing a "please see cashier" message at the pump?
When using the Swipe & Save card with your personal debit/credit card, first swipe your debit/credit card at the pump. The pump will prompt you to insert your loyalty card--this is when you use your Swipe & Save Good Sam Club membership card. If you use the Swipe & Save card first, the pump will present a "Please see cashier" message.

Yes...but the RV plus card gives more of a discount on gas than the swipe and save card....

You also get discounts on coffee (besides the buy 9 get 1 free thing). You should also be receiving emails from PFJ with specials.

If I login to that, my Good Sam membership card is associated. Does the pump ask for that card after swiping the RV Plus card? I understand that the RV Plus card is a loyalty card for the fuel discount, but it seems PFJ's MyRewards has offers for drinks, food, etc. that are separate from the fuel discounts.

Just wondering - I just received my RV Plus card so I haven't had a chance to use it.

NO once you put in the charge card you will be asked for the PIN number that is how it works for me no second cad required or needed

There are TWO cards:

RV Plus charge card
&
Pilot Flying J MyRewards which is linked to my Good Sam membership card

The latter is a typical rewards card where you earn points for purchases.

I was wondering when you were promoted for the second rewards card upon using the RV Plus card.
