I did not know where to post this, but I wanted to give a big shout out to a company that has gone the extra mile in customer service.
We bought two TravelChairs from a local store. These are light-weight, folding chairs, and we found them to be very comfortable. Anyways, after about 4 months, one of the chairs had a part break on it (and it was my wife's chair who weighs A LOT less then I do), and also, the ends of the feet came off after sinking into some soft earth.
I contacted TravelChair Company asking if I could purchase a replacement part for the chair since I did not see anywhere on the website for the replacement part. I also told them about the feet coming off and that we lost two of them. I never asked for them to give us anything, not once.
In less than 12 hours I was contacted by Olivia Geeson, Admin Assistant for TravelChair. She asked that I send in a few pictures of the broken area. I did. It was then that she informed us that we had two of their older models and they were going to send us a brand new replacement (new model) and the newer, wider designed feet!! And again, I never asked them for this level of service, they simply did it.
So I would highly recommend that anyone looking for light-weight camping chairs to give TravelChair Company a look. They have several models. I have no financial ties to this company, so I am only speaking as a very happy customer.
Thanks for the heads up on the chair company. We're going to look into them. And at the risk of being critical of your post. I had to read it twice slowly. You said "Anyways, after about 4 months, one of the chairs had a part break on it (and it was my wife's chair who weighs A LOT less then I do), and also, the ends of the feet came off after sinking into some soft earth." I think it would of been prudent to also capitalized the word LESS (after A LOT). And maybe even underline
A LOT. Just thinking of your well being.
Thanks again for the chair info.
