Grey water dumping

The solution to pollution is dilution! A 50 gallon grey tank used liberally is very different than a dishpan four or five times a day. NPS and USFS dispersed camping rules have long allowed digging pits for grey water. Common sense should dictate practice based on applicable rules.

I guess if you never wash your hands, brush your teeth or shower in the MH it would take a long time for the grey tank to become full. :B

Maybe for you. We use no more water to wash in the MH, than we did when we tented. Years and years of saving water camping, the habit is ingrained! One pot of hot water does them all.

Regarding local elections, I can assure you my mailman will be happier after this election season. Today, I had 6 (yes 6) mailers for 2 candidates. Naturally, they're the same mailers I've received more than a dozen times since this all started. Nothing new, just bashing the other one.

TBH, the available options nationally never come anywhere close to my views. The current campaign has made that more obvious than usual, but that's mainly a matter of emphasis. Their divergence from me is really about the same as always on the left, and only somewhat more scary on the right.

Local elections are not as bad. There are candidates who think more like I do.

I can't believe this thread has gone on for so long.

Obviously, it depends on where you are. If there is a camp host you ask them -- you don't do it without permission. In the boonies where there is no host and no one will be in your site for a week or more after you leave, it's probably ok IF you use a hose (don't dump on packed ground) AND depending on local conditions such as soil drainage characteristics, fly populations, etc.
